Candle Care & Ritual

To ensure an elevated experience and the longevity of your Ever After luxury candles, we recommend the following care:

Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wooden wick to approximately 1/8–3/16 inch. This promotes a clean, even flame and minimizes soot.

First Burn Matters
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface on the first burn (approximately 2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling and preserves the integrity of the candle for future use.

Burn with Intention
For optimal performance, burn your candle for no more than 3–4 hours at a time. Extinguish, allow to cool, trim the wick, and relight as desired.

Center the Flame
Keep the wick centered and free of debris to ensure an even burn and maintain the candle’s refined appearance.

Create a Safe Setting
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets.

Know When to Let Go
Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom to protect your vessel.

A Gentle Note on Wooden Wicks
Wooden wicks offer a soft, ambient crackle. If the flame becomes low, extinguish, trim the wick, and relight for an optimal burn.
