Wishing Star: Hope is powerful

Wishing Star: Hope is powerful

A story of light, legacy, and love

There are beginnings that arrive quietly.
And those that arrive as a reckoning.

The Wishing Star was not imagined. It was remembered.

In the earliest hours of my son’s life, the world narrowed to a room washed in blue light—clinical in purpose, yet celestial in presence. Beneath its glow, time softened. Breath slowed. And everything that mattered became both fragile and infinite at once.

It is said that stars are born from pressure—
from collapse, from intensity, from the unseen becoming visible.

So too are wishes.

Blue light, and the color that became memory

At the center of this story is blue sapphire—a paternal legacy stone, carrying the weight of lineage, protection, and enduring truth. It anchors what cannot be unmade: where he comes from, and what came before him.

Encircling it, aquamarine—his birthstone, and mine as his mother—moves like light made fluid. Soft yet resolute, it speaks to healing, clarity, and the quiet bond formed in the first breath between us.

Together, these stones tell a layered story:
of lineage and new life,
of strength and surrender,
of a moment where everything changed.

The Wishing Star also honors the spirit of wishes—those held for our children, and by them.

A reminder that even in life’s most delicate beginnings, hope is powerful.
